Just a bit of Inspiration: Air.

I’m going to start posting bits of inspiration every week. This week I’ve been drawn to a really light palette - almost pastel. Rooms, clothes and colors that reflect space and light. Although we’ve been working on more structured plates at school, I havent been too inspired by our theme so I decided to release my need for airy things here. I hope you dont mind! I wore an outfit inspired by my theme but I’m not used to taking outfit photos so i FORGOT..bad blogger. I will next time though! I promise!

all photos from Pinterest :) Follow me if you have one!! :)

Theme: Turn of the Century Filipino
If any of you find yourselves in the SM North Edsa area, please stop by my first ever exhibit at the Interior Zone. This is a shot I took of my vignette. I’ve always loved Filipino interiors, probably because of all the wood and the familiarity i have with it (my house is full of filipino antique furniture). My group chose it as our theme and used the furniture from the stores in the Interior Zone. I’ve been stressed about this for about 2 weeks, so here’s the result of all that hard work!

For my Professional Ethics class, my group and I had to make a video about everything we’ve learned in the past quarter. Here are the photos we took during our down time.

Exploded View. Jim Campbell. 1152 LEDS, Custom Electronics.

I like the looseness of this piece. I could see this being in a more casual, rustic space without detracting from the overall concept.

Mr. Jones

Before my mom left for Germany, we went on a little shopping date in Greenbelt 5 to buy her “winter” clothes for the 8degree weather. When we finally decided to take a break, we stumbled upon Mr Jones! I can’t quite decide how I feel about the interiors, it’s a mix of extreme 50’s diner style (hence the chairs and the red leather booths), and (in a way) Neo-Baroque (with the padded wall and mirror finishes). I’ve hadn’t eaten there before, so i was pretty excited! their menu is FULL of exciting dishes!

I’m such a chocolate milkshake freak, I think I mentioned before how i’m on the hunt for the best one. So far, Brother’s Burger is still the BEST but the milkshake at Mr Jones comes pretty close! The portion is huge and it’s kinda pricey but SO YUMMY.

Mom’s Black Bean Chili

I couldnt decide what to order so I asked the waiter for advice and he said they had a seafood dish that had shrimp, dory, and calamari so I went with that. I really enjoyed it! plus, all the sauces were really tasty!

After merienda, mom and I practically skipped to National Bookstore to buy a copy of my sister’s book: One Crazy Summer! I think all of you should get yourselves a copy as well! It’s by summit books so you can find it at your nearest bookstore or magazine stand :)

Last week, we had a styling activity for my Business of Interior Design class. We were given different sets of furniture that we had to set up and accessorize as well as shoot. I’m used to styling fashion photoshoots, so I thought this would be similar. man oh man, I was wrong. It’s so different from doing fashion! I’m so thankful I had groupmates that had a direction they wanted the shoot to go in, so they made it so much easier for me to shoot the set up. (I’d like to apologize for my lack of photography skills before you guys scroll down! i’m quite the amateur when it comes to this stuff!)

The first 2 shots are from my group’s set up and the rest are from the other groups in our class :)

I fell in love with the mike bike, if you guys saw all the photos I took of it, i think you’d judge me.
